A Pilates reformer works like a rowing machine giving you resistance through springs and pulleys on a moving bed. It adds challenge and intensity to a Pilates workout (be prepared to sweat!). The exercises can also be performed in a more gentle way and use the resistance to build strength, recover from an injury and regain functional movement.
Our classes are semi-private classes of max 4 people to one teacher
Previous experience of Pilates is essential if going directly to a beginners reformer class. If you have no prior experience of Pilates we recommend a pre-assessment (initial 45 min 1-1 session) to get guidance in using the machines. If you have an injury we recommend a minimum of 3 private sessions. It is more effective if the teacher knows you and can direct you accordingly.
